The Challenge
Heartland does serious underground utility work, gas, water and sewer, electric, and telecom, but the brand and old site did not carry the weight of the operation. For a contractor that competes on reliability and safety, a dated presence quietly costs partnerships and makes hiring harder.
In utility construction, the website is part of how you get vetted. A utility choosing an underground distribution contractor is trusting someone with gas, water, electric, and telecom lines that a whole community depends on, so they look hard at capability, safety, and track record before a single call. If the brand and the site look a step behind, a capable firm gets passed over for one that simply looks the part.
Heartland Utility Services is a Tulsa-based firm that does the real work: gas, water and sewer, electric and telecom line installation, directional drilling, and emergency repair, with an exceptional safety program and a reputation for finishing on time and first-time right. What they did not have was a brand and a website that carried the weight of all that.
We did two things. First, a brand cleanup, so the mark, the type, and the color hold together and read as established wherever a partner or a future crew member runs into them. Then a full website remake, built around how utilities actually evaluate a contractor: what can you do, can you prove you do it safely, and how do I reach the right person. We kept the tone true to Heartland, reliable, trusted, experienced, and made the site fast and clean so it holds up in search and on a phone out in the field.
The result is a launch we are genuinely proud to support: a site and a brand that finally match the operation behind them, and that work as hard on recruiting the crews Heartland needs as they do on winning the next utility partner.
